Cockatiel Playful Bird With Amazing Feather Colors

Cockatiel is playful and attractive bird for us. It is fun having this bird in our house. we can train it to speak, even not too clear, but it can whistle better than any other birds. It also have colorful feather, the male and female have almost same color. Its colors, such as albino, Latino, pearl, and silver. Cockatiel is small than parrot but it has same shape. It is easier to tame than parrot so you can choose it as your beloved pet. You can get the bird in pet store but before buying it, you need to know which one is good for you. The small cockatiel is better to tame than the big one.

Cockatiel in good condition

Do not ever choose bird that like to sit for long time under cage and inactive. Make sure the bird is having good feather smooth, clean and shiny, the beak should smooth, good shape and good nail. After getting your bird you need prepare the cage. Cockatiel cage should suitable with its shape. The size is around 20x20x26 inches with horizontal bars because it allows the bird to exercise. The various perches should place in different high to let cockatiel train its feet. Make sure there are no harmful things around your birth, cage such as wire or flakes paint. Do not put the cage in quiet place because the Cockatiel like communicating with human. It is better to put in near your living room but away from children.

The most important things for your bird is food. Feed your bird with nutrition’s food by mixing seed and bird pellet. Sometimes, you can feed Cockatiel such with boiled egg, grated carrot, beans, celery, dandelion, peas, broccoli and apple. Do not feed your bird with food contain high sugar and salt like avocado and potato. Do not forget to refresh its food and water every day to keep it away from bacteria. Moreover, you can add branches equipped with flower to entertain Cockatiel because it likes to destroy it.

If you find your Cockatiel like sudden loss weight and appetite, sudden loss feather and activity, its eye closed and change its norma colors.
